Gentastic is a free Windows app for generating images with FLUX and Stable Diffusion XL, entirely on your own PC. No cloud account to create, no Python environment to configure, no node graph to learn, no subscription. Unzip it, run it, and it figures out your graphics card on its own.

Built to be simple, not stripped down

Most local AI-art tools hand you a hundred sliders and assume you already know what CFG, samplers, and quantization mean. Gentastic ships with a small, curated set of models and sensible defaults for each one, so a first-time user can type a prompt and get a good result immediately - and an experienced user can still dig into steps, seed, guidance, and sampler when they want to.

• Text-to-image - describe a scene, pick a size, hit Generate.
• Image-to-image - drop in a starting picture and let the model reinterpret it while retaining aspects of the original.
• Automatic setup - Gentastic detects your GPU and picks the fastest backend for you. Models download on first use and are cached locally.
• Presets - save a prompt + settings combo, recall it later.
• Gallery - every image is saved with its generation settings embedded right in the PNG, so you can always see how it was made.
• No cloud, ever - prompts and images never leave your machine.

Models

Gentastic ships with a curated catalog rather than an unsorted list: the fast, modern FLUX.2 klein as the default, the earlier FLUX.1 schnell/dev, and a range of Stable Diffusion XL models for photoreal and stylized output. Each model shows roughly how much GPU memory it needs before you download it, and the app warns you if it's unlikely to fit your card.

About adult content

Gentastic can optionally run models capable of generating adult (18+) imagery. These are hidden by default. A user must explicitly confirm they are of legal age before any adult-capable model becomes available - nothing adult-capable is generated without that confirmation.

System requirements

• OS: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
• GPU: NVIDIA (CUDA), AMD or Intel (Vulkan) recommended for reasonable speed; CPU-only works but is much slower
• GPU memory: model-dependent - roughly 10 GB for the default fast model, up to ~27 GB for the largest quality models (shown per model in the app before download)
• .NET runtime: bundled - nothing to install separately
• Disk space: ~310 MB for the app, plus a few GB to ~20+ GB per model you choose to download
• Internet: only needed to download models the first time; generation itself is fully offline
